Good News: The honorary co-chairs for Rev 2024 have been announced

Dave was at a northside restaurant for an event held to share an important update about this year's Rev event.

INDIANAPOLIS — It's Thursday and that means it's time for some good news with Dave Calabro

Dave was at Capri Italian Restaurant at 2602 Ruth Drive in Indianapolis, with Ed Carpenter and his wife, Heather.

"The good news is it looks like you scored some free food," Ed told Dave, admiring his sampler plate.

Thursday's event at Capri was held to announce honorary chairpersons for Rev 2024.

"So Chris Gahl from Visit Indy will be chairing, along with myself and Heather here, so we're looking forward to an exciting moment," Ed said.

"And if people don't know what Rev is, you're missing out, it is the best party, right?" Dave said.

"Great party. Eighty-some chefs from all the best places to eat around in tons of entertainment. Pretty much every driver is there. It's a great party," said Ed.

"It's pretty cool. $10 million raised for IU Health over the years, right?" Dave asked Heather.

"It's amazing," she said. "There are things that they can do with that money making it a safer place for the rest of us."

Rev happens at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on May 4, 2024. It's a celebration with food and fun, kicking off a full month of Indy 500-related events. Best of all, it's for a great cause. Since its inception, the event has raised more than $10 million to support care programs for drivers and patrons at the IU Health Emergency Medical Center at IMS and for patients across Indiana who need critical care.
