INDIANAPOLIS — Getting to Key West is about to get a whole lot easier.
The Indianapolis International Airport announced its first nonstop flight from Indianapolis to Key West, Florida, on Allegiant.
To celebrate the new route, Allegiant is offering one-way fares from Indianapolis to Key West for as low as $59. Tickets must be purchased by Thursday, Aug. 19 for the promotional price.
“Key West is one of the most unique destinations in the United States, but until now it has been hard to get there,” said Indianapolis Airport Authority Executive Director Mario Rodriguez. “In December that changes — Hoosiers will be able to easily travel to the Florida Keys and enjoy everything this destination has to offer.”
The new nonstop route will operate twice weekly on Wednesdays and Saturdays with the inaugural flight set for Dec. 1, 2021.
