INDIANAPOLIS — A construction worker was hit by a vehicle Tuesday morning on the south side of Indianapolis.
According to INDOT, the crash happened on Interstate 65 south, near the Southport Road exit, around 8:45 a.m.
INDOT said an IMPD car was also involved in the crash.
IMPD confirmed multiple vehicles were involved in the crash, and the person who was hit was taken to a hospital. Their condition is not known at this time.
The right three lanes of I-65 south are closed, which has traffic backed up past the exit to Interstate 465.
