Winter Storm Updates: Temperatures drop following morning snow; more than 200 school delays/closings

INDIANAPOLIS — A winter storm is bringing snow, below-zero wind chills and high winds to central Indiana on Friday, Jan. 19. Roads may be snowy and slick for much of the day.

6:00 p.m. -- 13News crews were out across central Indiana throughout Friday, monitoring road conditions and weather-related incidents. Here's our 6 p.m. update:

12:30 p.m. -- Here's the latest update on the forecast and road conditions from the 13News team:

12:05 p.m. -- Indiana State Police told 13News there have been nearly 60 crashes on Indianapolis-area interstates this morning.

11:27 a.m. -- A good reminder if you're out on the roads today.

11:10 a.m. -- Blowing snow and temperatures in the teens will be with us the rest of Friday.
