INDIANAPOLIS — We are forecasting several days in the 60s starting on Friday. The warmth will last through the weekend and into early next week.
The forecast is not as easy as sunshine and 60s. There will be a boundary separating the really warm air from some cooler air, and that boundary will be close enough to central Indiana for a few showers this weekend.
Here is our thinking now, but be sure to check back for updates, especially if you have outdoor plans.
A few showers are possible from Friday evening through about 8 a.m. Saturday.
We do expect some dry time on Saturday.
Some of the latest data hints at a few showers south Saturday late afternoon and early evening. We will see how this develops. If it does, there will be a rain chance later Saturday into early Sunday. We do expect some dry hours on Sunday before another rain chance Sunday late afternoon and evening.
Over the next seven days, the heaviest rain is forecast to fall Monday into Tuesday with a few strong to severe storms.
We will keep you updated.
