It is another busy May weekend and it starts on Friday!
Sunny skies and highs in the middle 80s are in the Friday forecast. The weather is going to be great for qualifying for the Gran Prix on Friday. Gates open at 7:30 Friday morning.
Rain chances are back for the weekend but it won't be a washout. Scattered showers and storms will be around on Saturday and may briefly interrupt your outdoor activities. This includes the Grand Prix on Saturday afternoon. It will not be an all-day heavy rain. It will just be scattered.
A stray shower or storm is also possible on Sunday, but there will also be lots of dry time for Kids Day and the Rookie Run on Monument Circle Sunday afternoon.
