LIVE WEATHER: Tracking severe weather across central Indiana

A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for Lawrence County until 9:45 p.m.

INDIANAPOLIS — 9:12 p.m. - As of 9:12 p.m., there were still 11,394 IPL customers without power.

IPL reported nearly 25,000 IPL customers without power across central Indiana as of 6 p.m. Saturday. Additional storms and outages are expected, due to high winds, hail and lightning. 

IPL says customers without power should activate their storm plan and report their outage online at IPLpower.com/outages.

9:09 p.m. - A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for Lawrence County until 9:45 p.m.  

8:18 p.m. - A tree fell down onto power lines and is blocking part of the road on 38th Street near Michigan Road.  

7:56 p.m. - A Severe Thunderstorm Warning is in effect for Clay, Owen, Sullivan and Vigo counties until 8:30 p.m. 

6:41 p.m. - A Severe Thunderstorm Warning is in effect for Clay and Vigo counties until 7:15 p.m.  

6:38 p.m. - Kelly is on Facebook live tracking a tornado warning and severe weather across central Indiana.

6:21 p.m. - A Tornado Warning has been issued for southwestern Parke County until 6:45 p.m. 

5:50 p.m. - Frankfort police are advising people to use caution due to downed trees and debris causing road hazards. 

5:47 p.m. - The storm has moved out of the area and people are already back out at the Marion County Fair. 

5:45 p.m. - A Severe Thunderstorm Warning is in effect for Warren, Fountain, Montgomery and Parke counties until 6:15 p.m.

5:43 p.m. - Newfields closed early due to severe storms in the area. 

5:29 p.m. - A Severe Thunderstorm Warning is in effect for Bartholomew, Johnson, and Shelby counties until 6 p.m.  

A Severe Thunderstorm Warning is also in effect for Hendricks, Morgan, and Putnam counties until 6 p.m.  

5:25 p.m. - There are reports of a lot of trees down and tree damage to a home in Noblesville. Use caution if you are out on the roads. 

5:17 p.m. - Thousands of IPL and Duke Energy customers are currently without power due to the storms. 

As of 5:18 p.m., there are 18,768 customers without power, according to IPL's outage map.

As of 5:24 p.m., there are 9,873 customers without power, according to Duke Energy's outage map

5:10 p.m. - A Severe Thunderstorm Warning is in effect for Johnson, Marion, and Shelby counties until 5:30 p.m. 

A Thunderstorm Warning is in effect for Fountain, Montgomery, Parke and Vermillion counties until 5:45 p.m.  

5:01 p.m. - A Severe Thunderstorm Warning is in effect for Marion County until 5:15 p.m. 

Strong winds with lightning and heavy rain is expected. 

13News crew members in the downtown area are reporting large hail. 

People out at the Marion County fair have been advised to seek shelter. 

5:00 p.m. - Meteorologist Kelly Greene is on Facebook live giving the latest update on thunderstorm warnings and conditions.
