First responders get free admission to Newport Aquarium this week

Police officers, firefighters, EMTs, state troopers, correction officers, 911 dispatchers, and other professionals involved in law enforcement, investigations and emergency response will get free admission to the Newport Aquarium Sept. 9 - 15.

NEWPORT, Ky. (WTHR) — The Newport Aquarium is offering free admission to first responders Sept. 9-15.

The aquarium will recognize police officers, firefighters, EMTs, state troopers, correction officers, 911 dispatchers, and other professionals involved in law enforcement, investigations and emergency response.

They must present their professional credentials, along with a valid government-issued photo ID at the ticket window to receive free admission.

Family members and friends will be able to receive a $5 discount off adult and child (ages 2-12) admission.
