ISP: 4 injured in crash along I-70 on Indianapolis' east side; driver sought

The crash was reported around 1 a.m. Thursday along eastbound Interstate 70, near Arlington Avenue.

INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana State Police is looking for a driver who fled after a crash that injured four people along an interstate on Indianapolis' east side early Thursday.

The crash was reported around 1 a.m. April 25 along eastbound Interstate 70, near Arlington Avenue. 

A supervisor with the ISP Indianapolis Post told 13News one car struck another, and one of the drivers fled the scene. 

Four people in the car that was hit were transported to Indianapolis hospitals. Police have not shared information on the severity of their injuries.

The right three lanes of eastbound I-70 were closed in the area for more than an hour.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
