INDIANAPOLIS — It's Thursday, and it's time for some good news.
13Sports director Dave Calabro is hanging out with Pat at Kountry Kitchen at 1831 N. College Ave.
"The good news is Kountry Kitchen is back, and we're strong, better than ever," Pat said. "I love working here ever since they gave me the opportunity to work here. I have progressed in my communication skills, my people skills. I love seeing everyone and meeting new people every day. It's like I run into somebody every day. It's nonstop."
Speaking of good news, there's plenty of it on a plate here.
"You're eating our homemade mashed potatoes with gravy," Jennifer said. "We use red potatoes. And then we have our delicious sweet potatoes. Everything's fresh, freshly cooked and picked. Collard greens made with turkey tails."
"I better have a good big bite," Dave said.
"And macaroni and cheese and our baked chicken that we sell so much of," Jennifer added.
"I'm in heaven right now," Dave said.
