SPEEDWAY, Ind. — The countdown is on to the 108th Running of the Indianapolis 500. 13 Sports director Dave Calabro is chasing some good news at spring testing at the track.
"We're on spring break," said one fan. "Just getting to know Indianapolis. I've never been here before, so checking it out."
He told Dave the initial impressions were good.
"It's pretty cool," he said. "We like it."
Another fan said their family was having a good time, too.
"We're enjoying it," she said. "I think their favorite part was the bus ride, though."
And yet another visitor called Indianapolis Motor Speedway "the best place on Earth."
