INDIANAPOLIS — Cooler air is here, and you will need that jacket on Wednesday.
Temperatures overnight drop into the middle and upper 30s. Forecast highs are only in the upper 40s on Wednesday, about 20 degrees colder than the last couple of days.
This is a brief chilly change. Highs will be in the 50s on Thursday and in the 60s Friday through early next week.
We talked about a tricky weekend weather system, and it still looks tricky. Right now, it looks like the northern part of the state gets a rain chance Friday night into early Saturday. A few showers are possible for us in central Indiana, but there will also be lots of dry time on Saturday. This front lifts back north later Sunday into Monday, and this is when we have the best rain chance.
Stay tuned for updates as we get closer to the weekend.
