INDIANAPOLIS — One person was killed in a crash along Interstate 70 on Indianapolis' east side Monday night.
The crash happened around 10:30 p.m. May 6 along the westbound lanes of the interstate near Shadeland Avenue.
According to an alert from INDOT, one person died in the crash.
On Tuesday, the Marion County Coroner's Office identified the person killed as 60-year-old Shawn Torrey Phillips.
All lanes of westbound I-70 were closed for several hours during the investigation.
Indiana State Police has not released any additional information on the circumstances of the crash.
