Indianapolis, Dec. 10 - "He didn't give handshakes. He gave hugs. That's just the way he was." That's how Cindy McKean describes her 36-year-old brother Christopher Larsen.

Larsen worked at a Marathon gas station until he was shot and killed.

Now, Marion County Prosecutor Carl Brizzi wants the death penalty for the prime suspect, Thomas Holland.

Larsen's family agrees. "He can still communicate with those that love him and he loves. My brother didn't even have that option."

Brizzi says, "This is not something I take lightly. It's a difficult decision to make, but it is a burden I accept without apology."

Store security cameras caught the deadly robbery on tape. Plus, investigators recovered the cash register and a lottery ticket box in Little Eagle Creek.

Brizzi also filed charges against four others, including Thomas' brother William Holland.

But the cards are stacked even higher against the 28-year-old Thomas Holland. He's is also the prime suspect in the murder of the owner of Mars Hills Grocery store, now boarded up and closed.

Last March, a customer found Dipak Patel on the floor of his Mars Hill supermarket. Prosecutors say Holland shot Patel during an early morning robbery.

Both families gave input to prosecutors about seeking the death penalty. Brizzi says he has "met personally with both the Larsens and Patel families. They are in support of this decision without exception."

And without exception, both the Larsens and the Patels want nothing less than justice for the loss of their loved ones.
