Warren Central students spread Christmas cheer with 'Elf: The Musical'

Students at Warren Central High School are performing "Elf: The Musical" this weekend.

INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — Attention, cotton-headed ninny muggins: Students at Warren Central High School are performing "Elf: The Musical."

“We wanted to do a fun, fresh and challenging show,” said director Jeffrey Dalstrom. “'Elf: The Musical' checks all of those boxes and more.”

Dalstrom, who is also the Director of Theatre Arts & Acting at Warren Central High School, admits the mass appeal of the 2003 Will Ferrell Christmas comedy also played a factor.

“Most of my students and I are huge fans of the movie too,” concedes Dalstrom. “It’s also a great family show for people of all ages. There’s something for adults and kids.”

“Elf: The Musical” is presented by the Warren Central Performing Arts Department with nightly shows at Warren Central High School on Nov. 14, 15 and 16 at 7 p.m. and a matinee on Nov. 16 at 2pm.

Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the door or online at www.warrenpac.org.
