Hendricks Regional Health site down after cyberattack; patient information not at risk

The hospital system said the cyberattack was on the external website vendor.

HENDRICKS COUNTY, Indiana — Hendricks Regional Health's website is down after a cyberattack.

Employees at Hendricks Regional Health tell 13News the site went down Monday.

13News reached out to the hospital system, which said the cyberattack was on the external website vendor. That took down the public-facing website but was "not connected to any of our patient platforms."

"We are not aware of any patient information at risk," a statement read in part. "Hendricks Regional Health takes the protection of our patients’ health information seriously, following strict security and confidentiality protocols."

While the main site is down, a temporary site is up at Hendricks.org with information on how patients can access the most commonly requested information.
