(WTHR) — Teenage actress Laurel Griggs died suddenly last week after an asthma attack, according to TODAY.
Laurel, 13, starred as Ivanka in the Tony Award-winning Broadway show "Once." She also appeared on NBC's "Saturday Night Live."
According to an online obituary, Laurel died Nov. 5.
Her grandfather, David Rivlin, posted on Facebook about the tragic loss, saying his "beautiful and talented granddaughter" died from a massive asthma attack.
Laurel made her Broadway debut in 2013 as Polly in "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof."
