Greenfield man accused of sexual exploitation of children in person and online; police concerned about more victims

Bobby Cyprus Linhart, 21, is accused of exploiting children in person and online with the username “maps.syb.”

GREENFIELD, Ind. — A Greenfield man is charged with sexual exploitation of children, and police are concerned there are other victims.

Bobby Cyprus Linhart, 21, is accused of exploiting children in person and online.

According to investigators, they received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children on May 13, 2023, about sexual abuse material that was uploaded on Instagram, Snapchat, and X by a user called “maps.syb.”

The account, allegedly used by Linhart, was engaging in sexually explicit conversations with girls who identified themselves to be between the ages of 12 and 15 years old. The allegations claim Linhart also got some children to produce and send to him sexually explicit images and videos.

The Hamilton County Metro Child Exploitation Task Force (HCMCETF) claims to have found Linhart traveled to at least three different cities to have sex or attempt to have sex with underage children. One of those cities was out of state.

Linhart is accused of distributing some of the videos and pictures of children to another child.

On March 19, 2024, investigators searched Linhart's Greenfield home and found drugs, a gun and other evidence of "sexually explicit depictions of children."

Police are concerned Linhart has other victims. They're asking anyone who thinks they might be a victim of Linhart or communicated with the maps.syb account to call 317-595-3300 or online by clicking here.
