INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD is investigating a deadly shooting that happened Wednesday night on the near east side of Indianapolis.
IMPD officers were dispatched to a report of a crash and a person shot in the 1400 block of East New York Street, near North Arsenal Avenue, just before 8 p.m. April 3.
Officers found a man who had been shot. He was later pronounced dead.
The Marion County Coroner's Office identified the victim as 20-year-old Daniel Sabalza.
Police have not shared information about a possible suspect or motive at this time.
