Kenny Chesney to kick off summer at Ruoff Music Center

Tickets for the June 20 concert go on sale to the general public Friday, March 15 at 10 a.m.

NOBLESVILLE, Ind. — Country music star Kenny Chesney is kicking off the first day of summer in Noblesville. 

The chart-topping singer will perform at Ruoff Music Center on Thursday, June 20. The concert is scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m.

Megan Moroney ("Tennessee Orange," "I'm Not Pretty") will open each show on the Sun Goes Down Tour.

Tickets go on sale to the general public Friday, March 15 at 10 a.m. Presale tickets will be available beginning Tuesday, March 12 at 10 a.m. through Thursday, March 14 at 10 p.m.

"There is nothing like being out on the lawn with your friends, or even under the pavilion, on a clear night hearing the music and just being in the moment," Chesney said about his upcoming tour. "You can do some things in that environment you can’t at a stadium. It’s less production, less massive, but there’s a real sense of connection that is undeniable."

Chesney, the four-time and five-time Entertainer of the Year at the Country Music Association Awards and Academy of Country Music Awards, respectively, has had 32 songs reach No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard country charts, including "The Good Stuff," "When the Sun Goes Down," "Don't Blink," "Summertime" and Get Along."
