Search warrant served at Delphi family farm in connection with two murdered teens investigation

Whatever investigators took out of a house in the 11000 block of Bicycle Bridge Road Thursday night, it certainly wasn't anyone in handcuffs.

DELPHI, Ind. (WTHR) - A lengthy investigation and warrant service at a home west of Delphi did not lead to any arrests Thursday night.

Indiana State Police did say, however, the warrant was related to the investigation into the murders of Libby German and Abby Williams.

Investigators spent a few hours at the property neighbors said, and records showed, is a family farm.

There was a large Indiana State Police presence, along with the FBI and Carroll County Sheriff's Department, as investigators served a search warrant around 7 p.m.

Investigators also spent time taking photographs of the property. Police said the warrant came as a result of leads they got in the case.

"Basically, with information we received from tips and interviewing people, we had enough probable cause to believe we had enough information that could be relevant to the case," said Indiana State Police Sgt. Kim Riley. "We then took it to the judge. The judge gave us a search warrant and we executed the search warrant."

Riley would not say what items investigators took out of the home. He also would not comment on if the homeowner was at home when the warrant was executed or if that person was interviewed or even a suspect.

"There's nobody that's been arrested at this time," he said.
