INDIANAPOLIS — The first snow of the season fell today.  For most of central Indiana this will be less than an inch.  We are tracking some steadier snow east of Indianapolis and these bands along with some lake effect snow and lingering snow showers overnight will amount to an inch or 2.  There will be some higher totals closer to Lake Michigan.  The totals will be higher closer to the lake.

Stay weather aware.  Even in those areas that don't have much snow, there will be some slick roads overnight and early Tuesday as temperatures fall into the middle 20s.
