Temperatures today are 10-15 degrees warmer than yesterday. The heat is here to stay. Afternoon temperatures are forecast in the upper 80s on Wednesday.
Wednesday will also be a day to stay weather aware, due to the threat for severe weather. Damaging winds and large hail are the biggest threats.
It will be dry, hot and humid most of the day with the threat for storms arriving late in the day.
The latest timeline has the storms in northern Indiana around 3pm then moving south to the central part of the state between 5 and 7. The storms move into the southern part of the state between 7 and 9.
Scattered storms are also possible on Thursday and Friday, with afternoon temperatures in the middle and upper 80s.
Right now we have the weekend dry, with sunshine and highs in the 80s.
