INDIANAPOLIS —
After a wet start to 2022, the rain will begin to taper off overnight. A mix of rain and snow will take place, transitioning to all snow early Sunday morning.
Light accumulations will be possible with the best chance of snow north of I-70. Most snow will end by 7 a.m.
A few lake effect snow showers will be possible into Sunday afternoon. The biggest story, however, will be the bitter cold conditions. Winds will be out of the north-northwest, gusting around 25 mph. Wind chill values will be in the single digits and teens during the afternoon, with afternoon highs struggling to climb to 30°.
It will remain mostly cloudy during the afternoon.
