INDIANAPOLIS — A cold front is moving in today, triggering precipitation.
This will be rain, not snow and rain will become widespread and continue through the afternoon.
Rain potential will be a few tenths of an inch to a half inch.
Temperatures will warm into the mid 40s, thanks to a southerly wind, gusting around 30 mph.
A secondary cold front will move in later this evening.
A few lingering showers will be possible and could mix in with some snow. The winds will shift out of the northwest, allowing temperatures to tumble into the low 20s Saturday morning. A few light snow showers will be possible along this secondary boundary, with a dusting possible in north central Indiana.
