We warned of heavy rain potential the past several days and unfortunately the 1"-2"+ swath verified.
There area many rain sensors from Lafayette, Frankfort, into much of Hamilton County over 1.5". This axis of heaviest rain has prompted an Areal Flood Advisory until 11:30am due to flooded streets.
Thankfully it appears this will put a lid on our atmosphere this afternoon and at this we're only expecting widely scattered development at best.
However we'll need to monitor any storm that do develop along a sharp front for severe storm potential... with the focus primarily in west-central Indiana where temperatures will be considerably warmer.
Highs in the 80s in southwestern Indiana will be contrasted by upper 50s to near 60 north-northeast of the front.
