INDIANAPOLIS — The high temperature on Wednesday was 48 degrees. It was the first time in a week that the Indianapolis high temperature was below 50 degrees.
Even cooler weather is on the way for the rest of the week and the weekend. Expect highs in the upper 30s and lower 40s through the end of 2023 and the start of 2024.
The Live Doppler 13 Weather Team has been tracking a slow-moving weather system across the eastern half of the country, responsible for rain, snow, gusty winds and travel delays. The weather system will bring more rain showers to central Indiana on Thursday and Friday.
The light rain may mix with a little sleet or some flurries. Temperatures stay above freezing, so roads will just be wet.
Some sunshine is back for Saturday and Sunday.
