INDIANAPOLIS — From Crawfordsville to Gary, from Carmel to Peru and Richmond to Fort Wayne, half of Indiana is under a Frost Advisory until 9 a.m. More than half of the state is 10 to 15 degrees cooler than yesterday, and many spots north of Indy will have widespread frost this morning. It will stay cooler than average today.
This is the time of year when the average high rises to 67 degrees, but today, we will be about five degrees cooler than average. Look for an afternoon high of 62.
Tomorrow, a front moves through Indiana with a chance for a thunderstorm or shower, but the key impact will be the beginning of a warming trend that takes us into the weekend.
The weekend will bring a return to the 80s, but also a return to rain and storms Saturday and a chance for a storm with a warm 84-degree high Sunday.
