The warm trend continues and we see no below-average temperatures for at least the next week. For the second day in a row, temperatures will approach the record for today.
We could easily tie the old mark today. The forecast high today is 78 and the record was 78, set in 1961. It will be breezy, too. with winds near 20 mph from the south-southwest.
Our weather pattern will change tonight as a cold front arrives. The daylight hours of Wednesday will be dry. We are timing the best chance for rain from about 11 pm through about 10 am Thursday.
For Game 7 of the World Series, the deeper the Cubs and Indians go into the night, the more likely rain will move in.
Rain moves out and sunshine returns Thursday afternoon, with highs back into the 60s. Cooler air but still above average temperatures will be back for the end of the week.
We should get a four day stretch of sunshine and highs in the 60s Friday-through-Monday.
