Live Doppler 13 Weather Forecast - 11/16/18 Afternoon Update

It will be a cloudy and chilly Friday night. A few rain and snow showers are possible late Saturday and early Sunday.

It will be a cloudy and chilly Friday evening, but it will be dry. If you are going to a semi-state high school football game, you will need the heavier coat. You will need that coat in and out of Bankers Life Fieldhouse too. The Pacers are back home tonight.

The early half of Saturday will be dry, with mostly cloudy skies. Afternoon temperatures will near 40 degrees. We are tracking a weak weather system that will bring a few rain and snow showers to central Indiana late in the day Saturday. That chance for a light wintry mix will linger into at least early Sunday too. Afternoon temperatures on Sunday will be in the range of 35 to 40 degrees.

The weather pattern looks quiet for the days leading up to Thanksgiving next week, but it will be cold. Afternoon temperatures will be in the upper 30s and lower 40s on Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday is the big travel day before the holiday and we are forecasting some sun and high temperatures 45 to 50 degrees. Thanksgiving Day should be in that temperature range too with some sun.

Friday is shopping and Circle of Lights downtown Indianapolis. If aren't coming down to see the lighting, you can watch the show on Channel 13 at 7pm. For now we have most of Friday dry, with rain chances arriving later Friday night. We will keep you updated.
