Break out the heavier coats

Temperatures this morning will be in the lower 40s and afternoon temperatures will be in the upper 40s with just a slight shower chance.

How wet was it in Indy Thursday? Try the wettest November 1 in 126 years! We are slowly putting that behind us as we sail into the weekend. Temperatures this morning will be in the lower 40s and afternoon temperatures will be in the upper 40s. There won't be much of a change from the low to the high due to clouds, with just a slight shower chance.

This means most of the high school football games will be dry on Friday evening, but it will be cool. You will need the heavier coats.

By Saturday morning, temperatures fall into the middle 30s. It will be a cool start for the Monumental Marathon in Indianapolis. If you are running, volunteering or cheering for someone, be prepared for a chilly start.

Temperatures will climb into the middle 40s by midday and into the lower 50s by late afternoon. It will be a sunny Saturday with perfect weather for the Purdue game in West Lafayette.

There is a chance for a few showers on Sunday, but it won't rain all day. It will be a few degrees warmer and in the upper 50s and lower 60s.

A good part of Monday will be dry, before more rain, wind and storms arrive Monday night. Right now it looks like this storm system will be around for Election Day, too.
