Here are the keys to Indiana Fever getting their first win with matchup against Seattle Storm

Caitlin Clark said it after the last game — you're seeing progress.

INDIANAPOLIS — It is time for your Fever minute ahead of the Indiana Fever beginning its road trip out west against the Seattle Storm. Here are your three keys to victory on Wednesday night:

  1. Get out and tun – This is your best offense. This is where you need to be to have success. This also comes from getting stops — you have to get stops instead of taking it out every time the other team scores. This is a youthful team, and a fast-paced offense is their ticket to winning games. It comes with complimentary basketball though — get stops, get out and run.
  1. Limit turnovers...again – primarily in key moments. Seventeen turnovers against Connecticut on Monday. Take care of the basketball, and good things will come.
  1. Keep chopping that wood – It's cliché, but again, this is a young team. Learning how to win and close out games will come with time. Be OK with baby steps. Caitlin Clark said it after the last game — you're seeing progress. Keep building on that progress, and it will turn into wins. You outrebounded the Sun, you out assisted the Sun, it just comes down to those crucial moments and finishing off your opponent.

That's your Fever minute. The Fever and Storm tipoff tonight on WTHR at 10 p.m.
