Healing Hands Personal Services & Home Health supports medically complex children and their parents. Parent Attendant Care is "when parents are paid to care for their medically complex children. Our kids qualify for in-home nursing care, but because there's a nursing shortage, Indiana is solving this by paying parents to care for their medically complex children at home."

Susan Graham, Vice President of Marketing & Medically Complex Warrior Parent, shares that "My daughter is a former 24 week micro-preemie. She was 1 lb 12 oz when she was born. And she suffered some really severe brain bleeds. The brain bleeds caused hydrocephalus, epilepsy, cerebral palsy, and she uses a feeding tube as her primary means of nutrition. It's been hard to keep a full-time job with all of her medical needs."

Graham now is apart of Parent Attendant Care, which pays her to care for her daughter. "It has taken a huge financial burden off my family... We can dream some of those dreams that we've been putting off."

Lydia Townsend, Medically Complex Warrior Coordinator, shares "We are one of the highest paid in the state. We also offer health, dental, and vision. And starting in the new year, we are offering a 401k so that they can plan for the future as well."
