Coach Christie comments on her strength: defense. "From day one, that's what we've preached. That's how you win championships, to me. The offense will come. And that takes time, chemistry with your players. But defense is just heart. And that's something that I have a lot of."
Sides comments on her relationships with her players, and specifically shares details of her relationship with Kelsey Mitchell. Sides coached Mitchell as an Assistant Coach before transferring to a different team. When presented the opportunity to come back to the Fever, Sides reached out to Mitchell personally. They are excited to work together this year.
