Beacon of Hope Crisis Center is a domestic violence and sexual assault crisis center, primarily serving within central Indiana. Not only does Beacon of Hope provide free and confidential services to these victims, but their foster pet program provides support to their pets, too.

Sandra Ziebold, CEO, shares, "Unfortunately abusers use harm to pets as a threat to assert power and control over their victims. And our foster pet program is a means for them to safely free and have their pets fostered and taken care of while the primary victim is healing, getting independent and self-sufficient, and then they are reunited with their pets."

Beacon of Hope is seeking volunteers, donations, individual and corporate financial support, as well as donated veterinary care and services.
