NEW YORK, NY (WTHR) - This might be one of the best pranks we've seen in a long time.
To tease the latest installment in the horror film series "Rings", Paramount Pictures staged a wall of televisions at an appliance store in New York.
The trailer for the movie is playing on the sets while the clerk tells people in the store about the lifelike images on the 4K devices
That's when one of the "screens" opens, a costumed actress steps out and frightens the customers.
The new Rings movie is in theatres on February 3.
