(WTHR) – The famous fast food chain McDonald's is joining in on the chicken wars!
Since last summer, the company says getting a southern style chicken sandwich was top priority.
And it's finally happening in some areas.
"Houston.. Knoxville.. Lunch tomorrow? No beef!" McDonald's tweeted.
The push to get a chicken sandwich on the menu is to compete with other fast food giants like Chick-Fil-A and Popeyes.
