Presidential candidates speak in Indy for National Urban League Conference

Eyewitness News anchor Andrea Morehead got to sit down with Biden for an exclusive one-on-one interview.

INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — Several Democratic presidential candidates are in town for the National Urban League Annual Conference.

Former Vice President Joe Biden and New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker took the stage Thursday to speak. South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg and Sen. Kamala Harris will speak Friday, in addition to New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio, Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand and filmmaker Ami Horowitz.

Eyewitness News anchor Andrea Morehead got to sit down with Biden for an exclusive one-on-one interview Thursday. She asked him about jobs, health care and other issues facing Hoosiers.

The conference runs through Saturday at the Indiana Convention Center.
