Suellen Reed accepts new role

Indianapolis - After 16 years in office, State Superintendent of Public Instruction Suellen Reed announced recently she would not seek re-election for a fifth term. Thursday, Dr. Reed announced her plans for the future.

"When I explained that I would not be seeking a fifth term as super of public instruction I told you that I would be looking for some new challenges and opportunities. Ross and Sinclaire and Associates is a very good fit for those challenges and opportunities," she said.

Reed will serve as the finance companies vice president of business development. She says in her role she will work on financial projects with public schools.
