INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - A semi rolled on its side Monday morning blocking westbound lanes of Interstate 465 near Interstate 65 on the south side.
The truck blocked the three right lanes of traffic when it flipped around 7:30 a.m.
Traffic backed up from I-65 over to I-74 on the southeast side.
The wreck happened just past the westbound exit to northbound I-65, which is already taking on additional traffic during INDOT's planned closure of all eastbound lanes of I-465 for road work that is expected to finish this weekend.
Crews expect to be able to remove the semi after the rush hour.
