INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - Police arrested a man after they say he solicited a 6-year-old for sexual favors at a west side restaurant.
Police were called to the Chinese Buffet in the 4700 block of West 38th Street Wednesday night.
Police say while the child and suspect were in the bathroom, the man spoke with the young boy asking for sexual favors. A witness overheard the conversation and called police. Detectives say the child repeatedly told the suspect no.
Detectives confirmed with the victim that suspect did not touch him.
Police arrested 33-year-old Christopher Hockenberry for child solicitation.
The case will be turned over to the Marion County Prosecutor's Office for a final charging decision.
