DANVILLE, Ind. (WTHR) - Police in Danville pursued a stolen truck early Wednesday morning and arrested a man and woman suspected of stealing guns and electronics from an RV storage lot Tuesday night.

Arrested are 25-year-old Chelsea Casey and 35-year-old Michael Gillson. They were driving a silver pickup truck reported stolen in Vigo County when police located and pursued them at speeds over 100 MPH before stopping them in a field along State Road 42 west of Monrovia around 5:30 a.m. Thursday.

According to a Facebook post from Danville Police, the silver truck showed up in surveillance pictures from the Commerce Drive RV Storage facility on East Main Street in Danville. Police were investigating break-ins Tuesday night to seven RV's. One of the RVs was stolen. Police say thieves stole guns, ammunition, electronics and tools from the RVs.

At 5:00 Thursday morning, a Danville Police officer noticed a silver pickup parked in Commerce Park and tried to talk to the people inside. When the truck sped off, the officer gave chase and was joined by deputies from the Hendricks County Sheriff's Department as well as police from Avon and Plainfield.

After nearly 25 minutes, a Hendricks County Sheriff's deputy was able to make contact with the truck and push it into a field along State Road 42 and Hazelwood Road in Morgan County. Casey and Gillson tried to run from the truck and were arrested.

Police say evidence recovered in the truck suggests Casey and Gillson may be responsible for the break ins and thefts the night before in Commerce Park.
