Motorcyclist killed after crash on State Road 37 in Noblesville

The crash happened around 4:15 p.m. May 4 at the intersection of State Road 37 and Pleasant Street.

NOBLESVILLE, Ind. — A motorcyclist died after a crash on State Road 37 in Noblesville Saturday afternoon. 

According to the Noblesville Police Department, around 4:15 p.m. May 4, officers responded to the intersection of State Road 37 and Pleasant Street on a report of a three-car crash.

According to NPD's preliminary investigation, police believe a motorcyclist was traveling southbound on State Road 37 when he collided with a car traveling westbound on Pleasant Street. 

Police said the motorcyclist, Andrés José Fernández Freitez, was transported to Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in critical condition, but later died. 

The southbound lanes of State Road 37 from State Road 32 to Town and Country boulevards, and all lanes of Pleasant Street from Mercantile Boulevard to Clover Road, were closed during the investigation.
