INDIANAPOLIS — In central Indiana, several Memorial Day services will be held on Monday in honor of American military members who have died while in service.
One such event will take place at Crown Hill Cemetery in Indianapolis. The annual Memorial Day Commemoration Ceremony will run from 11 a.m. to noon at the Crown Hill Columbarium Annex, located at 725 West 42nd St.
In Hamilton County, the City of Fishers will hold a Memorial Day ceremony at 10 a.m. at the Nickel Plate District Amphitheater, located at 6 Municipal Drive, near East 116th Street and Commercial Drive.
Visitors will be able to see new light pole banners honoring local veterans and active duty service members in the Fishers community. The event will be live streamed on the city's Facebook page.
