Kroger expands list of $4 generic drugs

Indianapolis - The competition to attract pharmacy business continues. Kroger is expanding its generic prescription drug program.

Kroger added 11 drugs to the list of 300 available for $4 a month. If you buy a three-month supply from the list, it'll run you $10.

One of the new drugs on the list is Pravastatin, a cholesterol lowering drug. Tamoxifen, which fights breast cancer, and the osteoporosis-medication Fosamax are now $9 for a one-month supply.
