Indianapolis funeral home holding memorial service for 3 unclaimed veterans

An Indianapolis funeral home will hold a celebration of life service for three veterans whose remains were never claimed.

INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — An Indianapolis funeral home will hold a celebration of life service for three veterans whose remains were never claimed.

Gary Haaq, 64, Richard Clay Messina, 75, and Leland Wall, 67, all died at the end of January. Sprowl Funeral Home will hold a memorial service honoring them at Agape Apostolic Faith Assembly at noon Thursday.

Haaq, Messina and Wall are all U.S. Army veterans. They will be buried at Marion National Cemetery. Details for that service have not yet been set.

Agape Apostolic Faith Assembly is at 62nd Street and Georgetown Road on Indianapolis' northwest side.
