CINCINNATI (WTHR) — Former IndyCar driver Sarah Fisher can now add college graduate to her list of accomplishments!
Fisher was recognized for completing her bachelor's degree from WGU Indiana's College of Business at WGU’s 71st commencement Saturday.
Though Fisher began college after graduating seventh in her high school class and with honors, her racing career grew as she became the youngest woman to ever qualify for the Indianapolis 500 at 19 years old. Because of this, finishing her degree took a back seat.
In 2013, Sarah was ready to finish her degree but needed a university that was adaptable to her life as a mother, wife and business owner.
