Car crashes into Indiana State Trooper vehicle on US 20 bypass

The officer was stopped for another crash that had occurred on US 20. That's when a different car slid into the officer's vehicle.

(WTHR) — An Indiana State trooper suffered minor injuries following a crash on the US 20 Bypass this morning.

US 20 is in Elkhart County in northern Indiana.

Master Trooper Geoffrey Gruber was working a single vehicle crash when a black Honda crashed into the back of his Dodge Charger.

The driver was 19-year-old Inna Fox from Goshen, Indiana.

Fox was driving when she reportedly slid on ice and crashed into the officer's car.

Gruber was taken to Elkhart General Hospital but suffered no major injuries. Fox was uninjured.
