Dog rescued, residents displaced after Lebanon mobile home fire

LEBANON, Ind. — Residents at a Lebanon mobile home park were displaced following a fire Thursday afternoon.

According to a social media post from the Lebanon Fire Department, around 5:45 p.m. on March 28, crews were dispatched to the 400 block of West Elm Street on a report of a mobile home fire. 

Firefighters arrived and immediately began checking the mobile home for any potential residents that may have been trapped inside. Firefighters say no humans were inside the home when they arrived, but they did rescue a dog from the blaze. 

A neighboring trailer sustained damage as a result of the initial fire, according to officials. 

The fire remains under investigation. The Salvation Army responded to the scene to assist the victims of the fire.
