BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY, Ind. — Officials have determined the identity of a woman discovered in East Fork White River on March 27.
Bartholomew County Coroner Clayton Nolting said the woman was identified as 59-year-old Betsy J. Gehrt, of Columbus.
A kayaker located the body partially submerged in a sandbar near the Water Street public access ramp in Columbus on Wednesday, March 27.
DNR previously said the cause of death was pending, but there was no evidence of foul play.
